What I'll Build?
For my project, I will be building my own CMS website. The website I want to build will be based on game reviews. The game reviews will be useful for those who want to know what a game and its features are like before purchasing them. Users will be able to read these reviews and interact with them via comments. There will also be images and videos users can interact with that can help them decide about the game they are looking at.
The two UX features that I have decided to use for my website are:
1. Make the website easy to read with appropriately sized fonts, not too big but not to small, for easy to read and be accessible.
2. Users will be able to like and save a post they enjoyed. That way they can always go back to it and re-read it or share it with others.

Why Build it?
| Source |
I want to
build this website as I enjoy video games myself and often read reviews on
games before deciding if I want to invest in one. Sometimes, instead of
watching a play through of what the game is like, key points about the game, its
setting, play style etc are often handy and quick to the point, and something I look
into regularly before committing. Others can feel the same and want a quick,
brief overview that doesn’t take longer than a minute or two. For my site to be
easy to use and navigate, I want to add features that let users go back to the landing
page and an easy, simple navigation that organises everything into written
reviews and video reviews for those interest in that option and want more in
depth information. Inspiration comes from IGN reviews and their layout. I would do something similar but more minimalistic.
How to build it?
Plugins I will use:
1. Smush: Smush optimizes images to improve the page load speeds. This is helpful as users want to access content as fast as possible without waiting a long time. Smush compresses images by stripping hidden bulky information to reduce file size without affecting the appearance of the image.
2. Everest Forms: This is an online form you can create and add to your website. It can be changed to suit your needs for the site, and I would use it to make a form where users can send in requests for reviews and/or other relative information.
3. Antispam Bee: Monitors spam comments
